Job Title: DBE/ACDBE Recertification Review Assistant
Exemption: Hourly
Hours per week: Up to 40
Work Location: Telework *(Subject to change based on client needs)
Start Date: December 2025 /January 2026
End Date: 6-12 months
Reports To: Aurora Program Manager
JOB PURPOSE
To review and evaluate applicant submissions for the Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) and the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program to ensure that existing Maryland based companies meet all applicable federal and state eligibility requirements.
CORE DUTIES
• Conduct reviews of DBE and ACDBE recertification applications for completeness.
• Review of financial records, legal documents and other supporting documentation.
• Request additional information as required to ensure timely follow-up and documentation.
• Prepare reports regarding eligibility regarding recertification eligibility.
• Participate in required training sessions.
• Ensure all work complies with guidelines, standards and requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Must be a US Citizen.
• High School graduate, College degree preferred.
• Minimum six (6) months of experience with DBE and/or ACDBE certifications, application reviews, or related compliance work.
• Must be able to successfully pass background check.
• Experience working with Small Business organizations and/or the certification process

• Ability to prepare accurate and detailed reports.
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while meeting deadlines and productivity standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES
• None required
PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS:
• Ability to sit for up to 8 hours daily (Monday – Friday)
HOURLY RATE:
$25.00 – $40.00 per hour
